Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and delicious food, along with attentive and friendly staff. Located in the heart of Knaresborough, this charming little spot is definitely worth a stop.
We came here after a recommendation but I understand it has changed ownership. That's all I can put it down to. It was a miserable experience, and I just couldn't wait to get out of there at the end of our meal!!! A lot of stuff on the menu seemed unavailable. The food was mediocre. We saw another couple having soup and the dishes only looked half full! The place smelled fusty. It wasn't exactly service with a smile, not welcoming a very inexperience waitress who looked like a rabbit in the headlights and no music, so the atmosphere was just rubbish. I wish I'd just walked back out again!!
My husband and I went to SVT for the first time yesterday. What a find. Its a lovely pretty café with excellent food, friendly staff set in a pretty courtyard which is in central Knaresborough. Definitely one to add to my list of favourite eateries.
I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for many years, but this was my first visit since it changed ownership. The service was lacking and I felt unappreciated as a customer. There are many other cafes in Knaresborough that value your business, so I recommend trying one of them instead.
We visited Yorkshire for the weekend and made the trip into town to have a look around. We are both vegan and finding somewhere where vegan options were not an after thought was very difficult. Then we found this tea room, the menu was lovely to see! There was so many options. It is themed for 40's and upstairs 60's and 70's and quite honestly it did smell like my Nan's house. It was fun though, the food was nice, average sandwiches but still so nice to see such a huge selection for vegans.
