Harrison Tavern

Now that the craftsman is closed, this is the only bar that is worth driving in Harrison. Standing beer selection and ok atmosphere with a few TVs to watch the game.

I tried this restaurant tonight and I blown away! I rarely get this impressed by a setup, but this is not just your usual tavern. The prices are great, the service is professional and food is exaggerated. You need the pork wings with the dry rub... no sauce is required! The wings crack open, super crispy and super fresh. The Tavern Burger was perfectly cooked and juicy made with crispy bacon and melted cheddar. Even the Balboa was perfectly spiced with homemade bratbeef and fresh cheese. If that wasn't enough, I had a warm chocolate chip cookie that was baked with ice in a skill. If that doesn't make your mouthwater, I don't know what's going on. This place was fresh, not greasy and I don't feel rough after eating this kind of food. Just GO!

Fantastic new local find with solid food and a large tape beer selection! Harrison Tavern just opened where Halstead's bar and barbecue were, so my husband and I checked it on Saturday afternoon. We shared the Arugula w/ Wassermelone Salat, which sat perfectly for a summer day on the open window. I have a cheeseburger and he's got the ****. Both were great juicy, delicious and beautifully seasoned. You have a solid selection of ice cold beer on tap, and the Nabeby liked the Scotch and Bourbon options. We will definitely try again the wings, slides and the Balboa (Turkey Balboa also! what all looked amazing.

Delicious burgers. Free chips with your food / drink. Great bar and a killer trivia night.

A very good place to eat and have cocktails. The food is outstanding and the service is impeccable.
