Bidra med feedbackWakeed this morning with a strong desire for breakfast from here and they did not disappoint. I have a bagel with lax and cream cheese and my wife has a Bacon Bagel sandwich. both were amazing and portions were great
Updated 9/23/2022-for the owner to prove that I was actually there, I was the only customer in the store at about 7:20. I have my review a star for the bagel itself and the prices on it. I guess I really have to be cheap, but 2.50 for a butter sandwich is just too much. Even if this was 2 ounces of butter, it equals 20 pounds. For the Crème cheese if they put 1.5 ounces (per owner answer in another comment that a pint delivers 12 bagels) that 's about 45 a pound for simple Crème cheese. There was no possibility that I wanted to pay another 4.50 distribution of the simple Crème cheese prepared for your house. That would have put my onion bag with butter and crème cheese on almost 9 with tax. I often stop at Hogestown Grill in Mechanicsburg in the morning. A roasted bagel with butter and crème cheese is 2.25. I will grant that the bagel 't as good as Bagel Lovers and their butter may not be churned in the restaurant and the crème cheese is not love craft in the kitchen, but if I have 4 of them for the same price as at Bagel Lovers, well I choose them that is a fourth of the price because, in all honesty, that one costs 4x as much as nobody where near 4x is better. But I guess I'm cheap or do as many of the other customers. I used to stop here once in time for a bagel on the way to work, but their prices can no longer afford. Today was a simple bagel, roasted with butter and special cream cheese (as they no longer have scalion or veggie, although their in-house list still shows it) over 5. They also no longer carry regular egg bags. I would sometimes get an egg bagel with Nova-Lox spread, tomatoes and onion. It was 5-6. The same sandwich would start now 10. A slice of tomatoes and a slice of onion add 2 at the cost. After their online ordering system there is a .10 charge to cut the bagel. Not sure whether they charge paper and bag for packaging for orders or the spreader to spread the butter. I'm sorry, but my wages do not increase 70-80% to compensate for their increases. I know that stocks and labour costs have risen from late but not almost twice in price. Almost every merchant wants more money for the same product that they offered 2 years ago, but like most, wages do not keep pace with price increases as luxury as these, will be eliminated. This place used to be very busy. There was only one other client this morning. Answer to the owner-first, today is Tuesday, not Monday. And, half of my reviews are 3 stars, the average, or better. Get your facts and work on your mathematics skills. Maybe that's why you miscalculated food costs??? The product is average. For me, not worth the price. Perhaps if you spent less time defending yourself on negative reviews and playing down a recurring theme and more time in the work of the o
Honestly, if I gave this place 0 stars. It was terrible. The service was terrible, and the food was worse. They took so long to make my sandwich, which is okay, but why did it take so long as my eggs were MICROWAVED? In front of my face! Don't waste your time or money.
Not only did they last an extremely long time since it was only 1 other order before me. they MICROWAVE their eggs. Honestly, if I know in advance? ve just went to Dünkin Donuts. no taste in their food. based on the owner's response to other bad reviews, management is also unprofessional.
Im still giving this a five star even though I went to a Bagel Lovers Cafe hoping to find a gluten free bagel for a once previous bagel lover. They sadly didn 't have one but they did have a great menu, great choices and others in my group loved their food. I even took a bite, caving to my allergy, but it was worth it, loved the warm chewy bagel! Iced spice chai tea was pretty dang good too!
