American Dream Diner - Harrisburg

My husband ordered the roast beef sub with gravy fries, while I had eggs, toast, bacon, and home fries. The food was fantastic! The home fries were perfectly seasoned and the bacon was the best I've ever had at a diner. The gravy was also delicious. The prices were reasonable too! Overall, it's a charming little diner with delicious food.

I travel over 100,000 miles per year for work, so I am always on the lookout for a good place to eat, especially when my hotel doesn't offer a good breakfast. This was my first time at this diner and I visited for breakfast at 5:30am. The only waitress working at the time was an elderly woman who was feisty, friendly, and provided excellent service. The food was well-prepared, served quickly, and tasted delicious. The prices were very reasonable. This is a cozy, local restaurant with no frills, just amazing food and conversation. I will definitely be returning to this diner for breakfast regularly.

This restaurant is a pleasant spot frequented mostly by locals. The servers appeared to be familiar with all the customers.
