Some times they delivered the wrong food and when we phoned up to have the correct dish, the customer service was abrasive at best. Still we ordered from them because we had got used to our usual order and the restaurant delivery guys were used to where our flat was (it is a bit difficult to find). We always wondered why they needed to take the wrong delivered dish back with them, we joked that they were re-using it but in all honesty we thought that management just wanted to see the dishes for themselves and take action about it. Tonight however, when another wrong dish was delivered and we put the rest of the delivery in the oven to keep warm and phoned up to get the correct one, they revealed the reason why. Can we re-use it? My partner asked what they meant and they asked if it had been put on a plate otherwise they could send it to another customers house! Well, one lie from a customer wanting a refund about it not being put on a plate or not eating a bit of it from the box and BAM the restaurant now feels that it is perfectly ok to deliver that same box of food to the next customer who orders it! Absolutely sickened, we refused the correct dish the delivery guy brought to us bearing the brunt of his rudeness and lack of customer care because we refused to give him the wrong dish so he could re use it. (I was happy to let him see it so he could confirm it was the wrong dish, just did not want to enable this restaurant to re-serve food) We asked instead for a refund for the whole meal as we would not be eating any of it, but he was highly reluctant to pass the message along so we called up the restaurant instead. The restaurant refused to give us a refund and passionately argued their right to re-sell and re-serve food that had left their kitchen and gone to a strangers house despite their inability to 100% say it has not been contaminated or dropped on the floor and put back in the box for example. Trust me, if you don 't want an upset stomach or worse, DO NOT go here. I have contacted the Food Standards Agency and Environmental health. The actions this restaurant takes does not protect their customers health and I am sure violates basic food hygiene practices.
Ordered takeaway from here and wish we hadn't. Chips were overdone and the beef curry and fried beef with green peppers in black bean sauce were bland and tasteless. The delivery guy didn't have any change and was on his phone throughout so he ended up getting a 10p tip which was more than he deserved. No way was he going to get a few pounds for that.
Used this place alot in the past and it used to be one of the best Chinese around. Staff was always friendly and would go out of their way to help. A lots changed though and our last visit will be the last visit. Food was minimal and dry not to mention overpriced. Staff didn't seem bothered and wasn't attentive. The place felt dirty and it seemed as if the owner had lost all interest and passion for the place. I know it's not easy when you own a business that is slowly slipping down the pan but you need to ask yourself why. The place could be awesome again but I guess existing customers would need enticing.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! The staff are friendly and attentive. It is a special family-owned restaurant that offers excellent value for the money. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a perfect score of 5.
