Bidra med feedbackOutstanding meats, sides, service. They go out of their way to serve. Moist brisket, ribs, sausage, chicken, perfect smoky and flavor. Melt in our mouths. Sides of potato salad, green beans, charro beans and rice, excellent. We would drive the hour away just to have it again. Husband and son in law both smoke ribs, brisket, etc. regularly and highly praise Pit Stop.
Kid-friendliness: The outdoor seating is picnic style under a patio, making it a decent option for an afternoon meal to enjoy with your little one or fur baby.
This was a great choice. The new owners are awesome and make good BBQ. The crazy thing is there potato-salad..it's weird but sooo damn good...Food: 5/5
I wish I got a picture of the food but man you can smell that smoked goodness from up road! The brisket is rockin and so are the ribs and chicken! I had the rice and beans for sides and a bacon wrapped jalapeño and I was SATISFIED! Everything slaps and the vibe is great! Owners are super cool and the staff is very friendly.
I am from Chicago and visiting for a few months, and I just have to give Pit Stop a big thumbs up. I have tried good brisket from Chicago, Illinois, Arizona, Miami, McAllen, Texas, and various parts of Georgia, but I must admit that Pit Stop's brisket tastes better than any other brisket I have tried, including Chicago's. What stood out to me about Pit Stop's barbecue is that I tried it cold and it still melted in my mouth. Oh my goodness!
