Garza Tortilla Factory - Harlingen

The search for a large Barbacoa square in Harlingen has become GARZA! Prices are somewhat high, but also QUALITY. We ordered 1lb from Especial and 1lb de Lengua. The Lengua was tender and juicy. We like to mix both, but the Lengua knocked it out. The Verde Salsa was delicious and on site. Tortillas, soft and warm. Line by 7AM, but it was fast, 15mins waiting. Dress them with onion and Zilantro.

I came to Garzas a few years ago after I almost searched for TRULY AUTHENTIC barbacoa. The Barbacoa at Garzas could be a little expensive, but worth EVERY PENNY! Now you can ask yourself, are there cheaper Barbacoa otherwise where? The answer to this question is YES, but this is EXACTLY what you get CHEAP barbacoa. Make yourself a favor and save yourself the disappointment of the food subpar barbacoa and visit Garzas tortilla factory. You'll be GLAD.

My first time here and didn't disappoint. Very good barbacoa, tortillas, and the three salsas all have very good taste. Although somehow lean on the Spicier, even though I couldn't say whether it has gotanero or not. Great staff and a great thank you to Ruby that you help this old, discounted, disabled veterinarian navigate the ordering process that was much easier than I thought.

They have great tortillas, and their barbacoa is amazing. Best in town. Just expect long lines on the weekend plan ahead and call before.
