Lily's Cakes - Harker Heights

We used to love Lily's Cake. We even got our wedding cake from there. It was always a special treat after a long week. However, after a few months of not visiting, we decided to stop by today. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. We spent $22.50 on a variety of cupcakes and all of them were dry and lacking in flavor. It's sad to say goodbye to a place that we used to recommend so highly to others.

I am so thankful for Lily’s! Not only were these cake’s Beautiful but they also tasted amazing and we got so many compliments!!!

I was in need of a last-minute cake for my mom's birthday while in the Harker Heights area, and stumbled upon this bakery. Luckily, they had one cake left for the day and it was a delicious Strawberry shortcake flavor. We also checked out their cupcakes and plan to come back to try all the different flavors they offer. The cupcakes are priced around $3.75 or $3.95 each, while the cake we purchased was $45, which we thought was fair for a simple design. The taste of the cake was spot on, with a delicious strawberry mousse between the layers, although the bread part was a bit dry. Despite this, we found the overall experience to be pretty good. When we arrived, there was another customer in front of us being assisted by a lady behind the displays. The owner was also present but seemed distracted by fixing her hair and makeup, possibly preparing to film something. However, once it was our turn, the lady behind the display was incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of the bakery was quiet and clean, with no background music. We definitely intend to return to try out their cupcakes in the future.

We LOVED the smash cake Lily’s Cakes did for our sons first birthday party! We highly recommend. Thank you guys for making our cake great.

This place has the most amazing cupcakes!!! We used them for our wedding and groom's cakes, and they were a huge hit.
