Bidra med feedbackThis lovely little restaurant, which recently opened, is definitely worth a visit. Despite the wide variety on the menu, the Turkish dishes are authentic and homemade. We started with mezze, including hot sigara boreli pastries filled with feta and sucuk sausage, as well as a £5 platter of houmous, cacik, kisir, and satsuka. This was served with salad and Turkish bread, and was probably the best and most affordable mezze I've had on Green Lanes. I will definitely be returning for a mezze lunch. For mains, we enjoyed chicken shish, mixed grill, and iskender kebab, all served with rice and salad. We were treated to homemade baklava for dessert, which was delicious. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that the restaurant only accepts cash, so we couldn't leave the tip that the excellent service deserved. Hopefully they will get a card machine soon.
I am a 190kg man who loves food, and I must say, this restaurant made me feel like part of the family. The gozleme was absolutely amazing and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The lack of respect from the waiter was appalling. We waited 10 minutes to order, 5 minutes for a high chair, and 15 minutes for some of our breakfast to arrive. It took another 10 minutes for them to realize that our breakfast was missing, and they only noticed when we pointed it out and the waiter hurriedly brought it to our table. At that point, we decided we should not be treated this way as loyal customers. When we spoke to the manager before leaving, all he did was apologize and blame the lack of staff for the poor service, claiming it was a busy day. Overall, I do not recommend this restaurant as it is clear that some people do not know how to properly run a busy establishment and serve their customers. It is a waste of money and time.
I visited for breakfast on my way into London to catch a train home. A varied menu at very reasonable prices. I had a Turkish Breakfast #1 with egg, garlic sausage, feta cheese, salad and molasses jam with a small baguette. Excellent food and plenty of it. If i 'd been in london longer I 'd have worked my way through all the options. Good coffee too.
I ate here with my family as a group of 14. The staff were happy to accommodate us. The food was delicious, and really not expensive especially for London. We ate untill full for only £10 each even taking some home with us.
