Bidra med feedbackTajimaya in Shinjuku is one of the most famous coffee shops in the area. It offers a luxurious coffee experience that makes you feel as though time has stopped. This flagship store has remained unchanged since 1964 and is a must-visit for coffee enthusiasts. While photos are not allowed inside (with the exception of food and drinks), it is worth visiting this establishment to uncover its hidden treasures. Take your time and savor your coffee while immersing yourself in its retro atmosphere. The first floor is non-smoking, while the second floor allows smoking. Tajimaya offers a wide selection of coffee from around the world, including kopi luwak with an authenticity certificate. Their cakes and toasts are also delicious, with the no-bake cheesecake being a standout option. A seasonal Sakura cheesecake is available from February to early May, along with tasty tiramisu and coffee ice cream. Although slightly pricey, the high-quality coffee and pleasant ambiance make it worth the extra cost. An English menu is available for non-Japanese speakers, and visitors can purchase coffee beans to enjoy at home. For those in a hurry, take-away coffee options are also offered.
This café is absolutely stunning, with a beautifully decorated interior and a lovely atmosphere. They offer a wide selection of coffee options that are all delicious. While the prices are a bit high (750 yen for the popular house blend iced coffee), it's understandable given the classy nature of the café and its location in one of Tokyo's busiest business districts.
They got many options to choose from and the coffee is good but I've had better that's why I'll give it 4 stars for food. Over all the pancakes were delicious and fluffy and the place looks very nice and fancy I love the style of this place it makes you feel like your back in the 40s or before that era.
I had a great time at this restaurant. The interior has a classic feel, with a cozy and slightly dim atmosphere where smoking is permitted. The coffee was delicious, served in charming cups and saucers. They offer a selection of desserts, and I highly suggest trying the dorayaki. I will definitely return in the future.
Such a cute coffee place. You’re thrown back in time when you walk in. Watching the barista make our drinks was also so cool as I have not seen her technique. Was presently surprised as we were just looking for a quick caffeine fix.
