Bidra med feedbackI was in this restaurant after reading the great reviews on trip advisor with very high expectation as it was birthday of my friend. unexpectedly, the overall experience is forgotten. the foods were tasteless compared to many tasteful authentic Vietnamese foods that we have tried so far in other restaurants in hanoi. give it a miss if they are a real eat!
This stylish and impressive restaurant is located in the owner's private museum, which features 2,000-year-old bronze drums and other ancient artifacts displayed in glass cases. Although I only had a quick look around the environment when I visited, the evening meal was truly remarkable. The dishes offered were different from those at other restaurants I had been to before. One standout dish was the fried ikan bilis, which had a mix of salt, sugar, black pepper, and red chilies that gave it a spicy kick. I also tried steamed glutinous rice for the first time, which was quite filling. The rest of the dishes included roasted Vietnamese rolls, tofu with tonpot, steamed chicken, roasted pork meat, steamed ginger coriander mussels, and a sweet soup. Overall, I would highly recommend this culinary experience.
Impressive setting, rich with objects of Vietnam's 4000+ year old history. Great, tasty Vietnamese food. Enjoyed the customary Pho, freah seafood salad, poached lobster with eggs.
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was presented beautifully and the set-up was perfect for our large group of about 20 colleagues. While the cuisine may not have been as authentic as the street food I'm used to from Vietnamese restaurants, the upscale atmosphere made for an enjoyable dining experience.
Contrary to some reviews we had read, we did not feel pressured to leave a glowing review on TripAdvisor or Google. Instead, the restaurant simply asked us to fill out a short survey about our experience. The waitresses were attentive in just the right amount, balancing their attention between us and other patrons who had questions or wanted to chat. The prices were reasonable considering the quality of the food and service. We paid around 90k for pho or starters, and up to 200k for main dishes. Overall, we had a pleasant dining experience and would recommend this restaurant to others.
