Banh Xeo Zon - Hanoi

This restaurant is definitely worth a try. The portions are large enough to share, so it's more of a snack than a meal. They offer two vegan food options, including vegan kimchi (although it was unavailable when I visited). Be sure to check it out!

The fresh spring rolls at this restaurant in Vietnam are hands down the best! Rolling them yourself is an amazing experience and they taste absolutely delicious. The staff are also very friendly.

The banh xeo at this restaurant is quite good, I particularly enjoyed the Reisteig variation of it. You get one for 22k, making it a nice snack or small meal when you're feeling more hungry. The staff is friendly and helpful. Make sure to ask if the fish sauce is suitable for dipping and if they can explain how to prepare it in the future.

This was my first Banh Xeo experience. I thought it was super good and I was excited to try some very traditional Vietnamese food that I've never seen in the States. There's only one vegetarian Banh Xeo with mushrooms. Make sure you ask for soy sauce with no fish sauce. One order is I think 22,000 dong $1 USD) and two orders is probably good for one person. What an amazing deal!
