King Wok - Hannut

Our sixth visit to the restaurant left us disappointed. The buffet items were not at the correct temperatures - the cooked salmon was not hot, the dishes were almost cold, and the salad was lukewarm. The individual desserts were frozen in the ramekins. The final straw was watching the staff pick up chips from tables of previous patrons, put them back in the communal basket, and then serve them to new customers. When we approached the manager about our concerns, all we received was a simple apology. This lack of hygiene is unacceptable, and we will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

We decided to order takeout from this restaurant and unfortunately, one of the dishes we ordered turned out to be a scam. We thought we were getting scallops, but upon closer inspection, we realized it was actually made with reconstituted white fish, eggs, and flour. It was disappointing to see that the menu did not specify that the dish did not contain real scallops. Does anyone know of a Chinese restaurant in the Hannut area that serves authentic homemade dishes, or is everything industrialized here?

After reading some questionable reviews, I was hesitant to try this restaurant. However, we decided to give it a shot at 6 pm and we were pleasantly surprised! The buffet was well-maintained, with dishes being promptly refilled by the attentive staff. The food was fresh and delicious, and we all had a great time. While drinks were not included in the price, they were reasonably priced. A 1 liter bottle of Coca-Cola cost €6.50, which translates to €1.30 per glass. Similarly, a 1 liter bottle of still water was priced at €6.00, or €1.30 per glass. The staff was polite and efficient, the facilities were clean, and the atmosphere was calm. We will definitely be returning without any hesitation!

First impression, nice frame. But looking at it more ready, it must be refectory once the restaurant is full! the reception was very low, not a word, no explanation about the course of the way the restaurant works! While waiting for the baking of our wok dish, we found that hygiene was not their priority. We were so disappointed that we were taking our dessert elsewhere.

Terracotta and cooked, sticky and fat in some places, cats seen in the kitchen etc. wonders how this restaurant is still open.
