Lindener Turm - Hannover

An excellent location, but from the mangement of the lowest level. On a weekend, in the afternoon, beer garden to approx. 20 percent. There are about twenty people on the issue. Those responsible for this otherwise great restaurant should remove the sails. The operators do not deserve this location.

Yesterday evening we passed through Linden and had undertaken to eat a little bite in the beer garden of the Linden Tower. So we climbed the small hill, called Lindener Berg, and saw on the menu that we were right for little things there, so to speak, only little things like potato corners, grilled and salads. We chose a salad with chicken strips. Cost point: 6 euros. Actually, not too much nowadays...when I generally consider prices too high, nowadays; if meat is in play but I would have wanted a few salad leaves and other vegetables more, because that was quite economical on the plate. The beverage prices moved in the normal range, also sausages etc. were to have from 1.80 euros, so normal price. The beer garden itself is large and quite beautifully located; the tower was part of a mill that once did her work there. The ambience is therefore perfect for beer gardens and pleasant. I like quite well, and if we're in the area, you can come back! I was happy.

We haven't been here for a few years. The location is still superb, but the outside area was clearly sent up. Prices are ambitious, but not justified by quality or at least portion sizes. In addition, the staff showed a suboptimal mixture of disinterest and rudeness. It wasn't that chic before, but I felt much more comfortable.

The beer garden on the Lindener Mountain has risen again! And not only as a beer garden: you can also visit the tower in the afternoon and drink a coffee or eat something. At the moment there is the first Linden Christmas village with Christmas cottages on the grounds of the beer garden. We were at the tower restaurant and celebrated birthday there. The service was attentive and the food was inexpensive and good. I'm sure we'll get here more often.
