Black Bear Diner - Hanford

IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE MORE STARS, I WOULD!!! (Ps: Grab popcorn this is gonna be a long one) To start this long review..me and my sister went in for our birthday dinner. We came in around 7 (the restaurant closes at 9) but there was no rush from the staff at all! They even gave us extra time to pick out our drinks and food! While being seated and ordering, both our server and seater joked, laughed, and was very kind with/ to us and this started the whole experience wonderfully! There was four of us and we are all very picky with our foods (and not to mention we take forever just deciding what we want) nevertheless the server wrote our orders perfectly and we got everything we wanted and more! Considering how it was close to closing time and the amount of food we asked for, the time it took for our food to come out was the right amount of time (we are very considerate people and we do not mind the wait for the food (especially when there are a lot of us) at any food related places! When the food arrived we all drooled at just the sight of it! (The chefs also deserves credit) Everything tasted exactly how we all thought it would be! Hats off to everyone who was working that night!! Seriously, y'all are amazing! We also took a bit too long to eat our food (we are slow eaters at time and we talk a lot so it takes up majority of our time) but the staff was very understanding and again didn't rush us! Even my ma (who didn't like black bears) said that everything is not how she remembered it and she definitely wants to come again! When we were packing up our food, I asked if we can get three extra coffees in to go cups (we ordered the bottomless pit coffee or whatever it's called) and the guy was perfectly ok with it! We also had a nice chat with the server as we were boxing up our food and he was very kind! I cannot explain enough how wonderful this experience was! We are talking about it nonstop, even as of right now! Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for an amazing breakfast restaurant with above and beyond customer services!! Thank you so much again for everyone who was there!

I had luck at black bear in Hanford today the food was so fresh and the customer service was the best the waitress that served me and my family was Savannah she is always so kind and helpful

A chain that has a little of everything. Pasta, beef, chicken, etc. had the tri tip beef, which was tasty but a bit tough. Maybe it is supposed to be that way. Salad was ok mostly iceberg lettuce with slightly watery dressing. It was ok, but nothing special.

Food was really good. Had breakfast. Our server Savannah was great! I have always enjoyed the food here. Will be back soon!
