Pro: -located at a little old square in Hanau at the "Goldschmiedehaus" not far from the Schlossgarten, the city park.- staff are professional and friendly- probably the first bar where they had a craftbeer on tap! (and it tasted very good)Contra:- here is what I was most disappointed about: The menu is not very big is actually good, but I missed Hesse/Hanau inspired dishes. Yes, they had a Schnitzel but just with mushroom sauce or filled with cheese and ham. Come on, where is the blood sausage? Where is the applewine? Where is the Handkäse ("hand-cheese").- prices are okay, but the food needs some more finesse that a Schnitzel is worth more than 10 EUR. I will not visit this restaurant again without checking their menu before.

Nice place, interesting menu, kind of mixture between German cuisine and fusion international, I had an excellent deer plate, a fantastic carrot soup and great apple streuzel with ice cream. Watch out the prices especially the wine price list. I recommend it for 10-12 people business dinner but make reservation for the private room on the loft.

This is a friendly restaurant with good food. The menu items are on a chalkboard and no English menu is available. There are some traditional dishes with some more inventive dishes. The staff is very friendly and helpful in recommending choices.

After a long day tour in Hessen (Alsfeld-> Fulda- Steinau), then we back to Hanau for a dinner. The restaurant in front of a nice platz, I think it's very cozy have a lunch here. We ordered a Chicken schnitzel and Apfelbratwurst mit Kartorffel! very tasty and a good price. Will come back next tume. :)非常推薦的 青醬雞排 還有蘋果烤香腸+起司馬鈴薯泥~ 才10.5歐/11歐 ! 非常划算又好吃~
