Bidra med feedbackI 've been here twice and both times I enjoyed myself (for the most part). Both times it took quite some time for a staff member to come over to us to provide menus, take drink orders, etc. Both times I went during their off hours, so I 'm not really sure what they were up to that took so long. I went with their french dip with truffle fries both times and both times it was amazing! My fries did come with cheese the second time, but it was a welcome addition. The waitress who waited on us checked in a few times, but I noticed the bartender brought over my appetizer while wearing gloves from the bar. Not sure what was going on there. Overall, I will be back because the food was great!
This was my first visit and honestly I wasn't very impressed. The outside bar looks nice and if I wanted to hang out with some friends and have some drinks this might be a cool place to hang out but this time I came with my family for dinner. It felt dirty inside and run down. The service was not great at all. We waited forever for our waitress and she seemed like she had no idea what she was doing. We ordered a few pizzas and they were surprisingly good. Even though the food was good there are much nicer places to get pizzas.
A friend and I arrived at 5 pm on a Friday evening and were surprised to see that it was not crowded at all. Most people weRe sitting at the bar. The lighting is very dim inside but the atmosphere is nice. Plenty of seating. There were also plEnty of high chairs which is always good. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. Took our drink orders right away and checked up on us plenty. She recommended the Apple buttter burger over the chicken and waffles so thatts what I got. It came with fries and was on a brioche bun. The burger didn't have as much flavor as I would've liked but it was juicy. The Apple butter was an interesting touch. The onions were crunchy with some flavor. Overall not bad but I do wish I would've gotten the waffles! I wish they had a better draft beer selection but they also have cab selections. Worth a try!
Had the smoked wings and buffalo chicken pizza. The wings were very good and loved the crust on the pizza
While we have had decent meals here in the past, our most recent visit was lacking to say the least. I will start off by saying the service was on point. We were greeted quickly and served our order promptly. The bartender who took care of us was great. The food, on the other hand, was lackluster, ill-prepared, and frankly a total letdown (especially considering the price . We were actually most excited to get the bacon roasted Brussels sprouts but our excitement was quickly dashed when we were presented with what appeared to be a bowl of steamed Brussels sprouts and onion slices with bits of soggy bacon mixed in. I have a hard time believing anything was roasted considering there wasn't a hint of charring on any component and the sprouts didn't puck up any flavors from the other items. If I had to guess I would posit that every was steamed individually and mixed just before bringing it out. The wings we ordered were equally as disappointing. Picture in your mind the size of an ideal chicken wing. Now divide it by three. In a place where you pay for wings by the pound it is a letdown to have bony wings as I would rather be paying for meat instead of for a pile of bones. Needless to say we didn't follow this up with any other dishes as we figured our best bet was to go to a different pub, which is where we are now (and enjoying some delicious food!
