Bidra med feedbackThis place is ALWAYS busy. That alone should tell you something. There are tons of things for every taste or desire. My favorite is the jalapeño cheese bread and I drive from WS to get it!! Call the day before and have them hold a loaf or two for you though because they go quickly.
The best donuts and baked goods ever, plus there's a large selection of other local items to choose from!! We make the hour-and-a-half drive most Saturdays to visit this place, so you can definitely say it's a favorite!! Also, the people are so nice and helpful, which is a definite bonus!!
Sandwich special is delicious. We got a turkey and roast beef. The beef was so fresh tasting. Everyone is friendly and welcoming to people of color. Going back this weekend just to buy a pound of roast beef. Oh yeah the apple butter...get the apple butter.
It 's a traditional Amish store with "Brand "names from various locations. Some of the items here appear manufactured and sold but others are obviously made elsewhere and repackaged as their brand. Use caution when buying items here as they are something you can pickup elsewhere cheaper. They make sandwiches for lunch which are tasty but feel like you could do this cheaper also. You are paying more for the experience and such. Bought two plastic bags of items and cost 73.00. 73.00 will buy you about 4 to 5 bags at the typical Walmart. It 's a nice store and fun to visit overall just watch your money or you won 't have any left. Nice drive and country back roads. 10 dollars for glass cleaner?
First time there today. Rather large country store with Amish flavor. Their sandwiches are a must have , pick your choice along a cold beverage, and then enjoy eating while sitting in the front porch, in a rural/farm environment. While driving in the area, be aware of frequent cyclists: all we came across to, were Amish people.
