Bidra med feedbackThis morning visiting Hampton Virginia for my daughter? Wedding. I decide to try this Craker barrel, I really made a bad choice to try to have breakfast at this point. The first problem was that I gave the host my cell number to write me when the table was finished, unfortunately I got a text and I sat outside in the swing chair. No one will ever call me the speaker or write to me. The second problem was, after I was taken to my table, waiting for my b and egg ash brown casole. I waited like 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, I'm waiting for my waitress that I couldn't wait any longer.
The food was good, but waiting for the drain was 48 minutes longer than quoted. But that's nothing new. My daughter called an order and waited for an hour. Apparently more business than this location to handle. The picture comes from the curb-side parking lot.
Lack of personnel affects food quality and service. Some of the dining room was closed, the remaining two were packed to pre-covid levels, with inadequate staff to serve us. I had cookies and gravy with bacon. The cookies were good. The white engraving was blanding, no sausages. The bacon was crisp, but dried out because it was too long under heat lamps. I guess (but can't be sure) that I have a food-bourn disease that or got a flu packed by one of the other dinners in the room. Luckily no reference to Covid. Probably not back.
It was great to visit this restaurant and welcome like a family member. The young man waiting for me was very polite and highly professional. The food came fast and it was delicious. Great breakfast plate. It is not an official trip to Hampton Newport News, Va, unless you stop from cracker barrel. I also loved seeing all the employees wearing Hampton University shirts that represent the popular H. B. C. U in our area. That was the ultimate highlight of my visit. Thanks Cracker Barrel. This Jester means the world! All employees were so nice and helpful.
The food was gross and the forks were dirty. I had the roast beef and got this little piece of nothing. 1st and last time going.
