Publix Super Market At Arboretum At Surf City

I enjoy shopping at Public's. The store is always clean and the selection is fantastic. Although their prices are a bit high, I still think it's worth it.

Like the pharmacy. Found food prices to be slightly higher than other foods in town. The staff was very helpful.

Others have already mentioned it, but the folks that work here truly do care about you having a good experience. Whether they are fetching carts, restocking shelves, or bagging, the employees smile and talk to you like they have known you for years. Even the younger members that are still in school were genuinely interesting in how I was doing and would look me in the eyes as we were talking.A standout moment for me was David, a butcher at this location. I came in, wanting a specific cut that I knew was not what was normally offered at a grocery store. Talking with him, he had not heard of it but said if it comes from a cow, I can figure it out. I am going to watch some YouTube videos tonight, so if you can come back tomorrow, I will be ready I could see his curiosity get sparked and he was energized as his mind started racing. The next day, I came back and though he was quite busy, he remembered me and got to work on my cut. I watched as other customers walked up, asking for him to do smaller cuts or repacking things together. Without a beat, he agreed with a smile. David truly loved helping the customers. A few days later, I was restocking before my trip home and he caught my attention as I walked by. He asked me how the cut went, and I told him how it was a great hit with the friends I made dinner for.I cannot remember the last time I had this type of experience at a large chain style store. Please, even if it is out of your way, make sure to do you grocery shopping here.

Publix Surf City provided the cake, food, and flowers for my daughters wedding on Topsail Island. They were easy to work with and everything received from them was even better than I could have imagined.

I love publix because it is always so clean and well-stacked but this Publix in particular is my favorite. The employees are so helpful and always genuinely seem to be in a happy mood.
