Salty Joe's Bbq Shop - Hammond

This restaurant is a hidden gem, featuring a rustic and charming decor with vintage tractor and car parts adding a unique touch. The BBQ, ceviche, and drinks are all outstanding, and they offer a wide selection of microbrews on tap. The wait staff may be young, but they are incredibly attentive. Overall, a fantastic dining experience.

I recently visited the best restaurant in Hammond. The food and service were exceptional, with a nice atmosphere and a live band playing on the patio. The prices were surprisingly good for the high quality of food and service. Our server Brynn provided excellent service, from the friendly greeting to checking on us throughout the meal. The entire staff seemed energetic, smiling, and attentive. The leadership has done a great job in building a superior team. I regret not taking pictures of the patio and other rooms, but I will do so on future visits. I spent about the same amount as I did on pizza the night before, but this was definitely a better deal. On my second visit, I received exceptional food and service from Kelsey. Here are some photos from that visit.

Great food, friendly staff...wonderful atmosphere. Ordered a create your own bowl. So tasty. And the appetizers are amazing. Great variety of craft beer on tap.

Amazing place. One of my favorite of the whole Northshore area. It's all fantastic. The ribs were just perfect! We had a reservation for 18 and it went smoothly and we had a great time.
