Bidra med feedbackUnfortunately, I have completely lost confidence in ever returning to this restaurant. Even after informing the staff of my children's allergies, we observed that the chefs preparing our food were wearing the same gloves during our entire meal. For instance, when my son's pancakes were served, I had to eat them instead because I saw the chef handling them with the same gloves that were used to touch raw fish, sauce bottles, seasonings, etc. This lack of care for cross contamination made the dining experience feel very unsafe and risky for individuals with allergies. It appeared that no effort was being made to prevent cross contamination at all.
My husband and I enjoy Japanese cuisine and we discovered this restaurant located inside Westfield Shopping Center. We decided to give it a chance and found ourselves a bit overwhelmed with the menu. Thankfully, one of the friendly staff members assisted us in ordering our meal. In no time, we were savoring the fresh sushi and sashimi, which were both light and delicious.
Ordered the food then stressed to a member of staff that one of the dishes needed onions removing due to allergens. What a surprise when the dish came covered in them. The service was dreadful throughout the visit.
Food was fine, but one of my friends only received one of the things on their order (out of 4). After asking where it was, they were told it was being looked into and eventually their miso was brought over. That member of staff then gestured to other orders on the table and said ‘that looks like your food’ (it wasn’t, there were 3 of us and some of us ordered the same thing) We finally spoke to another member of staff who said that the kitchen was now closing and that the food was not coming. When asking for a full refund on the order, as my friend didn’t eat, the member of staff was rude and acted like it was our fault that the food didn’t arrive and kept explaining that the kitchen had closed. So essentially, my friend didn’t eat, we’re still waiting for a refund and we wouldn’t go back
Very poor service, small menu and if you don’t have a smart phone the staff make it very difficult for the customer. The new system will fail eventually! I saw three middle age customers just gave up and walked away like us. Not the yo sushi we knew! The drinks etc are delivered on the conveyor belt with no customer service.
