The Albion - Hammersmith and Fulham

Found this pub via Trip Advisor and it’s location was perfect adjacent to our London Olympia area AirBnB. We had a big lunch earlier in the day downtown and decided to split the wagyu beef burger plater along with a bottle of wine. Burger was excellent and my wife and I were satisfied with our shared portions. Very nice cosy atmosphere as our table was adjacent to a lovely decorated fireplace area.

Staff were very helpful and friendly! Most beautiful little pub with great character, they even have a dog menu which is fantastic. Will be back, bit pricy but in a fancy area so to be expected.

The girl with glasses who works there is very rude to customers. Zero customer service. Looks like he's doing you a favor

The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, great beer selection, friendly staff, and delicious food. We had a wonderful evening at this charming and traditional pub. Highly recommend!

My friends and I had this place booked for a number of months. We were travelling down for the Scotland/England game and heard they were taking bookings. Everything was fine, booked the table no problems at all. On the day of our visit, we unfortunately hit London traffic and arrived at the venue half an hour late. We phoned ahead and the woman rather arrogantly said they couldn’t keep the table, which is fair enough, but we could turn up and chance our luck anyway. So that’s what we did, my issue going forward isn’t about them keeping the table, I totally understand that. My issue is the attitude of the woman who dealt with us, I unfortunately do not know her name. I said we had a table booked and she frowned at me and said “what time for?? We are completely full, I didn’t keep your table”. I asked her exactly what her problem was, why she had an attitude and all I wanted to know was if the table was available, so we could find somewhere else. Her attitude and body language was extremely aggressive, arrogant and utterly bizarre. I called her out on her facial expression and of course she began to back track. I simply wanted to know if the table was available, we had travelled all the way down from Scotland to this venue and she left a bitter taste in the mouth. Perhaps you guys know who she is, she dealt with us on the phone and also in person. Maybe she doesn’t like Scottish people, maybe she was stressed, but if you are reading this then please treat your guests, and people you may come across in life with respect. We ended up walking down the road to a Hilton and watched the game at the bar with them, they were extremely professional and friendly, so everything happens for a reason. I hope this finds the woman who treated me and made me feel very small. You should learn from my manners, and use it to better yourself.
