Bidra med feedbackThe service at this restaurant was incredibly slow. Despite being seated promptly, it took 20 minutes for us to be served. One of our main dishes arrived after we had finished the rest, leading us to believe it had been forgotten. The cuisine is a unique blend of Mexican and British flavors, rather than traditional Mexican dishes. We were asked to leave because they claimed they needed the table, even though there were plenty of empty tables available. Overall, I don't think I will be returning to this establishment.
It was a very weird night, some really good parts, strange and some average parts. After sitting three waitresses within the first 3 minutes asked if I was ready to order in, I didn’t even have a chance to lift the menu to look at it. Ordered snacks which were lovely, but it came in less than two minutes, then followed quite quickly with the hot items, tacos avocado, quesadillas, but no cocktails arrived so we had to wait. Before I even took a bite I was asked how the food was, when clearly my plate was untouched due to waiting for the drinks. I look to the bar and there was a member leaning against the bar sipping on coffee and the other guy was chatting to a group of people, whilst doing nothing. Avocado taco was the highlight of my meal, the chicken quesadillas was okay, and the meat to garnish ratio on the pulled pork taco was so imbalanced. Cocktails despite the wait were good. The icing on the cake was that the waitress overcharged us, by giving us the wrong bill, which thankfully my girlfriend noticed. When you charge 90 pounds for a meal for two and have swanky decor, your food and service should match that. I can pay this money in a semi fine dining restaurant meal, but the service and food matches that, you can’t Mayfair prices if the quality doesn’t match.
Went here on a Saturday night for a few cocktails and food. We didn’t have a booking and they were very accommodating. The food was very tasty and the staff provided great service. There was fun music playing!! And it’s very cosy on the inside.
The food was simply awesome. It is a great place to relax a bit after some serious shopping. The burritos were really good. Though the place was very busy we were served really quick!
Called in to the Ken High St branch of 1910 and had burritos. A superb lunch for next to nothing. The food is fresh and tasty and the choice of fillings excellent. Obviously not a spot to linger over lunch its more a takeaway with a few tables, but if you want a quick, tasty lunch try this.
