Excellent culinary experience. Specials every day and lots of fish. No chicken option, but Dteak and Lamb plus two vegetarian options. Pricey, but no complaints.

Enjoyed an elegant Valentine's Day dinner at Tamarisk. The 5-course menu offered drew us in; the experience delighted us. The chefs created a menu that incorporated vegetarian options which is always a pleasant surprise. Warm atmosphere, creative use of local ingredients (it's loquat season here in Bermuda), and great service made our first visit to Tamarisk a memorable experience.

We were staying at Cambridge Beaches property and had dinner at Tamarisk every night. Some of their dishes are a hit while some are a total miss. The best thing about this place however is their top notch service. Their staff is warm and welcoming and also very attentive. Food wise, we tried a few things every night, including Cajun Blackened Local Yellowfin Tuna for appetizers which was pretty good, Bermuda Honey Orange Baked Chicken $30) which was quite dry even when it was warm, Slow Braised Lamb Front Shanks $33) which was a clear winner and really delicious a seasonal lobster dish which was priced at around $49. Add 17% to all those and you have a really expensive menu which doesn't really feel like a fine dining experience to be honest. Drinks are steep too, although they do have a decent selection of wine cocktails. If you are not staying at Cambridge beaches, it doesn't make much sense to dine here unless you are a local of course, just to experience their great service.

If you are staying at Cambridge and want to dress for dinner this is your only choice...good food...nice staff...check you Bill carefully...gratuity included in your check...???
