The Himalya - Hamilton

I ordered channey bhature and Masala tea from this place yesterday. Masala tea was so bad and disgusting it was feeling like just a boiled water with minimum amount of milk and there wasn’t any taste of masala tea in that and no sugar as well. As i asked them to put sugar in that. Then the channa bhatura was totally a disaster. The bhature was fried in some bad oil that it had all the blackness of burned oil on it. And channe was like a curry with no taste. I literally fell sick i suffered from vomiting and stomach ache afterwards. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all.

One of the best restaurants to try samosa and bhatura. Food is excellent. The place is a little bit small though and has 3 dining tables for people who want to eat on the spot and sometimes there are lots of people eating and lining up simultaneously. I have given 2 stars because of the behavior of the young desi guy on the counter.I have been here few days back, got some naan, shahi paneer and mix veg. Food deserves 5 stars butThis young guy with specs on the counter thinks he is the boss of hamilton ?.He has a false and overconfident attitude and is a little rude. He should get some training on customer service.Owners should keep a check on him otherwise i think he can spoil the good reputation of the restaurant.My advice to counter bud:This shop is very old and one of the best in hamilton. You don't even know how much efforts owners have put in to build the reputation of this shop. Donot spoil it. It is all about dealing and way you talk to customers little young bud. Be polite with your customers.

No better place than Himalya for vegetarian food lovers. Hands down the best paneer pakode and chholle bhature in the area. The best part is they are consistent with their taste. 7 years of regular takouts from these guys. Do try to dine in if possible. Some foods only taste better when served fresh !

I tried their paneer paratha and sweets today and I have to say- it’s the best I’ve had! Their paneer paratha reminded me of home! Fresh, hearty and flavorful!A gem in hamilton! : I have never reviewed a place- this is my first and it had to be the Himalya restaurant!
