Bidra med feedbackMadeleine grinds her own organic flour as her organic offering to her exquisite and extraordinary talents as a baker (too pedestrian) but her products are beyond the ordinary. They taste (the very small samples we bought) delicious and her attitude is one that reflects the very inviting and embracing aroma redolent of home and nostalgia. The small but adequate foyer of commerce is surrounded by beautiful large food and locale pictures and products that include imported teas (one blended by the world-famous New York chef ,Marcus Samuelsson). The back is where the magic of her baking takes place and you see the ovens and racks of her patisserie products...You will NOT leave unaffected but enthralled !
When you think Hamilton and baking you probably think Wonderbread and baloney in a lunch bucketThat's your dad's Hamilton.
Fantastic baked goods and made with whole wheat flour that the owner grinds in-store! I tried the oatmeal raisin cookie, and ginger molasses cookie - both
Glad to support local bakeries and restaurants in the area but this place does not do it for me Way overpriced for what it is.
Small assortment of baked-onsite breads, cookies, and pastries, with many (most) made using whole grains. Not a french patisserie in a traditional sense - selection skews toward high-fibre, low sugar items. Everything is tasty and prepared with care - but, a small selection of not-so-healthy baked goods might help drive traffic.
