Green James St - Hamilton

I had brunch at the Green Bar on September 12, 2023.I treated myself to the Bayfront Breakfast home fries (the best I 've ever had in my entire life), tofu scramble, and tempeh 'bacon '. It also came with toast and fruit compote which I just didn 't want. It was delicious!! A huge portion. They have an extensive menu. The staff were fantastic and really went out of their way to confirm my allergies and make sure I felt comfortable ordering. The restaurant was very comfy, relaxing, and clean looking.I can 't wait to visit Hamilton another time so I can eat at the Green Bar again :)Dietary restrictions: Food allergies were easily and carefully accommodated.

I’m not sure if the person working just screwed up but my smoothie was undrinkable really chunk with pulp, seeds, and a bunch of whole cranberries(which weren’t supposed to be in the smoothie I ordered. it was quite expensive as well.

Big shout out to the Green Bar for the epic nutritious and delicious plant based food. This isn’t junk food veganism, and bless that! We were sublimely delighted to stop in twice and were met with wonderful smiles ‘n service. The food was heavenly, and the juices pure bliss! Thank you for all the soulful LOVE, it truly is the most important ingredient!

Very disappointed, i ordered a blt and asked if they can replace the spinach with kimchi and all I got was bacon and kimchi on my bagel (that was also supposed to be poppy seed) got a sesame seed instead … no tomato no mayo. Won’t be coming back

Called in a pick up order 40 mins prior to close and was immediately given attitude and told we could 'maybe ' place an order as they were closing soon. Had to call twice as we are assuming they ignored the first call. Pineapple kimchi bowl was sub par. Balance of flavors was not good, spinach is dry and so much ginger it was pungent, whole thing tasted sour. Smoothie was not cold and upon picking up order was given dirty looks even though the order took them supposedly 15 minutes to produce- and was picked up well before close. Stickers on boxes looked like they were angrily slapped on. Not impressed, should have canceled the order upon the phone attitude.
