I visited this establishment back in the summer with a couple friends on a Friday night.
As always the food and service was phenomenonal, love the music they play too
I went with my family to this restaurant and was totally smitten. We decided to try several of their creative dishes and share them...best idea ever! Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We ordered pizza which was cooked on their woodstove right in the restaurant. Awesome. We had steak tartare which I hadn't been a fan of until the first bite of their offering. Yummy. We had Nonna's meatballs- savory and delicious. We indulged in the hand cut frites with herb aioli and enjoyed them so much we ordered a second round! Then- just to be healthy - we had the organic beet salad which was fresh and delectable.We went back to indulgent with our desserts. The Ontario Apple Sorbet was light and refreshing with just the right amount of each of the title ingredients. The Dulce de Leche Gelato was scrumptious and just a bit decadent. But to take the cake for indulgence was the Chocolate Mousse Cake. We all enjoyed our time their thoroughly. The service was great, with the staff showing just the right amount of attention. They were also very accommodating when it came to our eight month old baby. I would recommend Born and Raised for when you want a special treat.
All good. Went back and will go back again. Friend that had Risotto with wild mushroom said it was delicious but way too small for price, waiter explained more rice would dilute the flavour of the mushrooms, made sense keep that in mind, that is if the still have it on the menu.They had an Octopus dish, per my request, I had grilled Octopus on its own with lemon, best I ever had!
