We went in to share more creative dishes. New menu items that were also delicious. Seafood Thermoidor???? Wow. We tried 5-6 small plates and each had interesting flavors. Never disappointed! Friendly, competent staff. Wine selection could use some work, but unlike that it is a great place. Fun outdoor terrace with good weather. We'll be back. Please support our local, independent restaurants and bars. We need them!

I recently tried Merk Snack Bar for the first time with a friend. We sat on the outdoor terrace and enjoyed their tapas-style menu and drinks. We began with cocktails, trying the Violet Beauregarde and Orange You Happy. I highly recommend the VB cocktail, it was delicious. We also sampled several items from their menu, including the flavorful Broccoli with sweet spices, naan garlic cheese bread, jerk chicken taquitos, veggie quesadilla, and tater tot poutine. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.

I love this place absolutely. Great food and drinks. This place is not huge, so I would recommend reservations to look for a place. Very cool atmosphere with washrooms. Meals are smaller and cheap. We have a few different records to share and love. The service was great! I definitely come back!!!!

We recently introduced another couple to Merk who had not been there before. We all enjoyed our various dishes. The restaurant has a creative kitchen with a variety of interesting flavors. The pancake was especially delicious in the cooler weather. The service was excellent and there was a great atmosphere in the room. Make sure to make a reservation as the restaurant is not very large. We enjoyed dining outside during the summer lockdown and will definitely be returning in the winter months. Overall, a fantastic menu!

The outdoor patio at this restaurant is fantastic for dining, even in the cooler months. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent.
