Aout'n About - Hamilton

I sat here with friends for a night drink. Staff friendly, service good. We sat outside on the terrace and had a great evening. Nice place.

Last Sunday sat in this restaurant and sat on her terrace... the beer was good and so was the food. I had the chicken and pesto sandwich on sourdough bread with frits.... it was very delicious. The waiter was knowledgeable and friendly.

I tried to visit this pub on Thursday night, but was stopped by a bouncer during the walk through the front door. The Bouncer told me I'm not welcome. I asked why not and the Bouncer told me that I had to go....I was confused as I was not inebriated and not been in this special pub in years, so could not understand why I seemed to be banned. I told the Bouncer quietly that I would go, but would like to know why I wasn't welcome for which he replied because you're friends with the guy in the white car. I was indeed friends with the guy in the white car, as we arrived at the Augusta street together a few hours earlier and parked in front of Aout 'n About. Shortly after we parked and went in Augusta house my friend experienced a truck that tried to return to a place in front of his car, the truck went over the curb and finally came back to his car. My friend went out and the truck driver was an older woman who seemed intoxicated and her husband and daughter were also in the vehicle. After a few minutes I went out with another friend and the two parties fought for the damage to my friend's vehicle. I stood on the way a few minutes, said nothing and returned to Augusta House. My friend, whose car was hit, went home. After departure Augusta House we planned to check Aout 'n About since we 't was there in years and that's when I was blocked by the Bouncer because I was friends with someone whose car seemed to be hit by someone who saw being intoxicated. While I left, I noticed the daughter of the truck driver talking to the other Bouncer, and she used the opportunity to crochet me on the way. I found it amazing that I could be denied access to a bar of what seemed to be the direction of another cartridge (daughter of truck drivers) as she repeated the ounces informed that I was a bad person for friends with the person whose car was damaged, although not involved in the dispute at all. I've never really enjoyed this pub with which I started, which is why I haven't been there for years, and after this experience with a power trip bouncer trying to impress a woman in the bar, I'll never go back.

The food was great. Service was great. But should your doorman smoke a cigar while he checks the ID? Smoking on a terrace is a good right? Make a few steps forward

I ordered the Greek Salad, which comes with feta and olives. We had to leave quickly, so asked for it to go. When we opened the box no feta or olives. Just veggies and dressing. For $8.25. The other order was a Western. It...was average. Won't be back.
