Uncle Jimmy's 173 Surf Turf - Hamden

The prices at this restaurant are a bit high, but not too terrible. I will be trying a new dish next time and will provide feedback on the cost, service, flavor, and portion size.

This was the worst food EVER and it costed me $50. The fish doing the mannequin challenge and my wings soggy. I will never spend my money here again. And to think I was trying to be apart of the support black business crew. But this will NOT ever be one again! I hate I had to give it one star but that?s the only way I could write how BAD TASTING this FOOD is cause I couldn?t even eat it.

The food was amazing! we had the shrimp fries platter, yams, and spicy wings. you feel the love being put into this food! Let me tell you? the banana pudding will have your eyes rolling off the first bite, omg ???? thank you for the hospitality and making the wings catered for my sister her tastebuds. She said the wings were just right, spicy but the kind that leaves you wanting more!

The food at this restaurant is amazing. I drank an entire iced tea before I could even finish my meal because it was so good. The chili shrimp I ordered was incredibly delicious.

This was my first time ordering from Surf Turf. My daughter has been craving Chopped BBQ and I was trying to figure out where to get her a sandwich without going so far away from home. Thought of this place, as I literally drive by it everyday. The Chopped BBQ was very good and had a kick ????? (staff graciously said can be ordered less spicy). I ordered the fried okra which was delicious ???? Couldn?t stop eating them. Was popping them in my mouth like popcorn ???? ???????? Generous portions and the staff was very nice and welcoming. Would definitely go back! ???? ????????
