La Paz Tapas Restaurant Weinbar

Despite for the most part good food, I can't recommend this restaurant! The food prices and quality are ok, but the wines are totally overpriced and cost here 5 to 6 times the trade prices. The tables are very small. Our order didn't even fit. We had to sit very close next to another couple and couldn't really entertain ourselves. When booking, I asked for a large table and a romantic place. That was just ignored. The big table next to us was empty all the time. The service was not at all clear and not nice. Our complaints were not received at all.

Eating really amazing! Service always 10/10! Meanwhile, even beautiful graffiti tastes the façade, making it feel local. Clear recommendation!

Once again a really nice evening at Lapaz. I don't experience the service any better than here, I felt wonderfully accompanied by the evening. The food is really fantastic and totally delicious from classic tapas to extraordinary creations. It's worth it!

The restaurant is easily accessible by public transport. By car it is a bit difficult, as there are no private parking spaces. The ambience is great. Nice furnishings and cozy lighting. The chairs are a little uncomfortable, because you sit pretty deep. Besides, the tables are too small to place all tapas on the table. The service is very nice, sometimes somewhat intrusive, but overall very attentive. Food and drinks are quite expensive. We didn't try the wine. Bread is very little on the table. Some of the food is not well seasoned. We were particularly disappointed by the guacamole, which one had to stamp himself on one hand and on the other was very sour. The nachos were also unworn. The stay is limited to 2 hours by 8:00, which makes the food a little stressful. Overall a nice place to have it a bit more chic, but good tapas are cheaper also elsewhere.
