Block House - Hamburg

Great value for money. Attentive staff, fast accurate service and good atmosphere. It is a chain restaurant, hence family friendly and a large crowd to be expected. No reservation. We waited only minutes. Great table by the windows sonce special occassion. All good!!

We visited for dinner on Friday evening, so had a short wait to be seated but felt like we were looked after. Once at our table, our waiter was friendly helpful, once ordered, the drinks food followed soon after. We tried the...NY burger the veggie burger both were delicious. We then wisely opted for dessert, also delicious. Throw in the views over the lake it adds up to a great meal.

I used to love the Block House and go all the time when I was in town. Sadly, the medium rare I ordered turned out to be more on the well done side. The starter Bruschetta was oily and soggy. The waiter was...too busy to care I will not go again.

If you’re into poor customer service, I-hate-my-job-atmosphere, meat in your parmesan cheese and sand in your salad, this is definitely the place to go! The meat is okay, but not at all worth the price and hassle of rude staff and bad hygiene. Would not...recommend this place to anyone!

Terrible restaurant, sand in the salad, poor costumer service. The waiter was rude and the food was expensive considering bad quality and preparation. Would stay far away from here. Worst food experience in my life
