The Golden Flower - Halton

I suggest avoiding this restaurant as they frequently make mistakes with deliveries. I ordered food for delivery and only received half of it, causing the first half to go cold while I waited for the rest. I decided to cut my losses and asked for a refund, losing out on £18. I will not be ordering from them again.

The golden flower chippy in Widnes provides delicious fish and chips beautiful crispy batter on the fish and good portions quick and polite service every time wouldn't go anywhere else

Asked for a special butty for me and my partner, I asked for the barm to be on top and not underneath to stop them going soggy and was told I would be charged extra for this. When I asked why because I'm getting the exact same thing in the box I was told no. Left the shop would not recommend as I received terrible service!!!

The online ordering process was simple and quick, and our order arrived ahead of schedule. All items were present and hot, and the service was excellent.

I placed an online order and waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for delivery. After that, they tried to charge me again even though I had already paid by card during the ordering process. The chips were very soggy when they arrived, but the rest of the food was decent. Unfortunately, there were no prawn crackers included, which was disappointing.
