Roxbury Urban Dive Bar - Halifax

I have visited this restaurant twice now and tried a variety of food items to see what you can get for $5. I was pleasantly surprised! The portion sizes vary, ranging from a small amount of onion rings to a burger that is almost too big to finish. I highly recommend the Hot Mess (delicious Mac and cheese), Secure the Bag (Doritos with cheese and gravy - yum!), and Baby Dont Hurt Me (amazing carrot cake). I appreciate that you can order a nice variety of dishes without spending too much. The drinks are a bit pricey, but similar to other bars in the area. The drinks are creatively presented and the selection is enjoyable. I visited during the early evening and the atmosphere was relaxed, but I have heard it gets livelier at night. The VJ plays a great selection of music, including classic hits. This will definitely become a regular spot for me. In short, order the Hot Mess, Secure the Bag, and Baby Don't Hurt Me. Good music, friendly staff, and a chill atmosphere.

The food and drinks at this restaurant are fantastic and reasonably priced. It's a perfect spot to visit with friends. The music is top-notch and the service is even better.

Just tried out this fantastic new restaurant for the first time on a Friday night with a big group. The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly, making our experience really enjoyable. Definitely planning on coming back!
