Resto Urban Dining - Halifax

Celebrating my and a friends Birthday! We decided on Resto Urban Dining in Bedford. Formally, The Cellar. We arrived at noon(opening time) and were the only customers for about 45 minutes. It was several since eating at this gem of a restaurant. The luncheon special hit the spot. Creamy vegetable tomato soup, was a great choice on a snowy/rainy day, with a buffalo chicken wrap that was very filling(1/2 came home). A very leisurely lunch and hot cup of tea was topped off with candles in their gingerbread cake with caramel sauce. Thank you to our server, Heather, for terrific service and making our celebration and lunch a lovely day for two old friends. A great choice to support local business. Check out their full menu. Xander and the staff provided the best decorations, atmosphere and most attentive and thoughtful service for our post-wedding dinner. It was a night to remember and it all came down to Resto Urban Dining. Thank-you very much for your caring service. The food: big servings and delicious and worth every penny. Glad I got the seafood chowder and salmon entree.

Nice little spot for a beverage and a snack. They have nine locks on tap and the service was great. Really clean washrooms.

My daughter and son in law held their wedding reception at Resto , and from the first meeting, to the conclusion of the reception Marlene and her team were fantastic! They were very professional and personable, the meal and service was perfect. I hadn't eaten there prior to the reception but we certainly have it on our list of places to dine. If you are planning a similar event, we were a group of 50 , I highly recommend Resto Urban Dining. John B

Fine dining at its best. If you haven't tried this little nugget you are missing out. The food is delicious and atmosphere is fun and our waiter was awesome. Don't be in a hurry when you go there to eat you'll want to savoir every bite. Can't wait to go again
