New York Fries - Halifax

Amazing food!! I love there fries i recommend to anyone who visits the shopping center to stop here to eat!!!

Their cheese sauce is a little thin and underwhelming, but other than that everything I've had here is really good! The fries are pretty solid and their garlic aioli is extremely tasty. I'm not a big hot dog fan, but theirs are thick and juicy and quite flavorful. Definitely a good place to stop for a quick bite to eat. The only major downside to this location is that it's in the Halifax Shopping Centre, so it's not the most convenient place unless you're already at the mall for other things.

East or west, New York Frie’s the best! Seriously, it is, in my opinion, the best place to get poutine. On top of that, the fries, crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside! Being a frequent customer, I know (and trust them) that the ingredients are fresh, so that is customers can get what’s best.

The food was tasty, but be cautious when ordering the large poutine as it is quite sizable and could easily feed a family of 4! I made the mistake of ordering the large portion and had to take half of it home with me. Thankfully, the restaurant provides take-home boxes which made it very convenient to bring the leftover food home.

I cannot adequately describe the incredible taste of NYF. The flavors simply melt in your mouth. As I am writing this review, I have already placed my order because they are just that good. I strongly recommend trying them out for yourself. And now, they also offer Poutine Kits! You can take them home, heat them up, and enjoy them just like you would in the restaurant - hot and delicious.
