The line up to order was 10 deep at least and that many waiting for their orders as well. The service was amazingly fast and the service was great. We sat at one of the tables located behind the restaurant and enjoyed our fish n chips. They were amazing.Hot, crispy and satisfying. I should have ordered a large(not that I could eat that much) but it was so good I wanted more. Haddock, French Fries, Clams, Lobster rolls, Scallops.
I ate at the battered fish at the Halifax shopping centre food court! What a great surprise, my mother, sister and I all agreed that it was one of the best meals we've ever had! Amazing fresh fish and French fries. I would definitely recommend the beer battered fish and chips!
First time trying out the Battered Fish in the Halifax Shopping Centre food court - nice portion, tasty food and a nice option for fresh fast food. The fries were a little thin and the price was a tad on the high side - $9 for 1 piece of fish and fries with a bottle of water but I would eat here again when at the mall.
I just ate at the battered fish in the Halifax shopping center and paid 20 bucks for a bottle of root beer 2 pieces of fish and a cup of seafood chowder. The food was very good but the portions were small. I am still a little hungry and I know I can get a much larger meal at my favorite restaurant for the same amount of money. At least it was a nice alternative to fast food.
Halifax is a place I go to bar-hop, so by the end of the night I can never really remember which bars we went to, and we drank, but I always remember to get some battered fish in me before I head out drinking. As I travel on a budget, I tend to avoid ordering entrees at the bars, so I look for street food, and this place totally hits the spot! (Sorry donairs, though I love you too
