Bidra med feedbackLoved the sandwiches and suppen and the delicious baked goods! we were so grateful for this vegan caffe in haliburton!
Absolutely beautiful cafe and antiques shop, almost completely vegan. I'm not gluten free, but loved the gluten free cookies and biscuits. Offers cashew, coconut and oat milk.
I recently stumbled upon this charming little café, which also serves as an antique shop, after seeing a billboard promoting vegan and gluten-free options! When I inquired about their vegan offerings, I assumed there would be just a few choices, but to my surprise, everything on the lunch menu and all the baked goods were both vegan and gluten-free! I had a delicious lunch featuring lentil stew with roasted vegetables and pesto, while my mother enjoyed her grilled cheese and spinach sandwich. The dandelion iced drink was refreshing, and the baked goods—peanut butter cookies with chocolate, a chia energy ball, and various bars—were excellent! The next day, I returned for more baked treats, including their chocolate chip cookies, freshly baked chocolate chip muffins, and pecan pie bars! There are many more vegan options available than mentioned in previous reviews. Everything was delicious!
We were thrilled to discover this hidden gem in Halliburton. The food is fantastic, the antique decor is beautiful and intriguing, and the prices are very reasonable. This is an update from my previous review on August 3, 2021.
