Pasta Moon - Half Moon Bay

The food at this restaurant was excellent, offering a modern take on Italian cuisine. The special options were outstanding, such as the perfectly cooked pigs osso bucco that I ordered. The fritto misto could have been a bit warmer, but the unique combination of ingredients was well-balanced and served with a delicious aioli. The Tiramisu was light and fresh. The restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere, but you can also dress up and enjoy some fine wine for a more special experience, or simply wear jeans and indulge in some delicious pizza. I appreciated the variety of options on the menu and the reasonable prices. Interestingly, my server was exceptional and knowledgeable about the menu, providing excellent service from beginning to end. As a cook myself, I was impressed by his attentiveness and skill.

Our group loved all of their main dishes! The pork chops were tender and flavorful, the eggplant parmigiana and pizzeria lasagna were both delicious and well-seasoned. The desserts were also a hit: cheesecake, vanilla gelato, and espresso tiramisu. It had been over 15 years since I last visited Pasta Moon, and the food was just as amazing last night as I remembered it to be. The service was excellent and our server was fantastic!

So delicious! Past Moon offers great service, tasty food, and a lovely atmosphere in a beautiful city. The staff was very friendly and the food was cooked to perfection with great seasoning. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Thanksgiving 2017. Looking for a place to get my friend and I was extraordinary about our idea of holiday dinner. Crab cakes were amazingly better than I ever had and I had a lot. Margarita Pizza was great. We will include this when we travel to Half Moon Bay.

This is the best Italian in Half Moon Bay. Eat at the bar, great food and great service! You won’t be disappointed.
