Dairy Queen - Haines City

Finally got a register that allows you to tip there hard working employees with your card. This is my favorite dairy Queen. Friendly, great service and outstanding products

Ice cream was great. But we also ordered crispy chicken sandwich combo and the food was awful. Chips undercooked, extremely pale and hard still. Chicken was OK but barely any garnishing. Expected better from DQ, but looking at other reviews it does appeareveryone has similar views good for ice cream, terrible for hot food.

The service was good and our food arrived in a reasonable time, but the food was not normal DQ food. My guess is that they don't have a hood and a fryer so they don't grill the burgers on a commercial grill and either air fry or cook the fries some otherway. Needless to say, the burger and fries didn't taste like Dairy Queen. Their ice cream blizzards tasted normal and were good.

Shocked by the quality of food served here. Definitely did not seem like it was the average quality ingredients expected by the popular chain. Noticeably, the lacking quality began from the burger bun and meat to the toppings and fries. The qualityreminded me of a family barbeque. Oddly enough- there were not trademarked drink cups, to go containers or even bags served atthis location. Service was efficient and kind, but the cash register was a model I haven't seen in almost 2 decades. Thisfranchise owner may need to consider refurbishing to attract higher traffic.
