Bidra med feedbackAlmost no butterflies, unclean, poor quality items in the café, high prices, and rude, unprofessional staff! Warning, don't go there!!!!!
This Stockholm gem has only improved over the years. As a child, my visits to the butterfly house were absolutely captivating. Stepping into the tropical warmth and humidity, especially during the cold and dark winter months outside, brought a refreshing vitality. The contrast between the bleak winter darkness that stifles life outdoors and the vibrant oasis of life and exotic plants inside the butterfly house is striking. It’s a standout attraction, even during the summer. The division of different climate zones has long been a hallmark of the butterfly house, and that remains true today. The third zone is so warm that you almost feel compelled to switch to shorts and a Hawaiian shirt, as if you’re taking a little vacation in the tropics. The butterfly house is a must-visit during a winter trip to Stockholm, though it can be a bit pricey, especially for a family with young children.
This restaurant received a rating of 0. It was dirty, expensive, and the food was terrible. Do NOT eat there. The only reason it gets a 1-star rating is because of the beautiful butterflies we saw. We will not be returning to Fjärilshuset.
Fjärilshuset was very good, but the café left a lot to be desired. I ordered one of the daily specials, meatballs with mashed potatoes and pickled cucumber for 99 kronor. The mashed potatoes were instant, and it came with just three slices of cucumber. The meatballs were not tasty. I recommend eating at home or elsewhere. The food at Fjärilshuset's café was definitely not worth the price.
They have removed the family pricing (2 children + 2 adults), making it extremely expensive! The restroom at the entrance was overflowing with paper in the trash bin, even though we arrived right at opening time. More money for the owners and not for the staff? There were many dead butterflies on the floors in the tropical rooms. Not worth the money!
