Bidra med feedbackI ordered 6 pieces of chicken at this restaurant, but they only served me 4. I didn't receive a drink either. I have tried calling them multiple times, but the line is always busy. I am really disappointed with my experience at this restaurant on Mare Street in Hackney.
We went to this KFC after a theatre show at the Hackney Empire, we got there at 10pm. There were 3 people serving/making the food but they were taking one order at a time. Walking in the slowest pace as if there was no rush. The shop was full (it’s a small shop too but at least 6 other people that wanted to order). So we spent a total of 15 minutes in this “fast food chain”. The lady serving us was also giving commentary on the quantity of our order. There was three of us and we ordered 2 meals, one of us didn’t want KFC but she kept making unnecessary comments of how I am starving my sister. Now the food. Dried out wings and chicken. Food that’s been there the whole day for sure. There was so much sauce in the zinger burger it made the bun moist, we had to bin it. The chicken was so dry and the bun disgustingly soggy.
This KFC is central in Hackney town, its very small with no seating areas, it does have a token resting desk, so ideally you buy , you leave. The food gives no rise to any issues, not greasy and the fries are crispy and you will be served by friendly staff. I will recommend and i will return.
We were in need of a meal before heading to bed following a concert at The London Stadium. The server was quite slow, and by the time we made it back to our hotel to eat, the food had gone lukewarm. Additionally, there was no ketchup available.
The service was remarkably slow when it came to taking our orders, especially considering there was only one other customer ahead of us. Despite ordering just two pieces of chicken, I found that people behind me were receiving their orders before me. To my surprise, I also received a portion of chips with my meal which I did not order. These chips were overcooked and very dry, suggesting that they were likely made at the end of the night.
