Bacchus Sundays - Hackney

Bacchus's Sunday roasts are fantastic, and they are available at my local pub in Hoxton (which I love) as well as at another favorite spot of mine, George and Vulture. These roasts are definitely among my top picks. I usually go for the lamb, which is always tender and comes with a delicious side of crackling. The potatoes are also perfect, and even though I'm not usually a fan of dessert, I always clean my plate. This is probably due to the amazing gravy they pour over everything. The portions are generous, but I like to start with a Scotch egg and finish off with a small slice of cheesecake. It can be dangerous to be in a pub on a Sunday, with temptations like these!

I thoroughly enjoy their hearty roast dinners. I have been a fan for years, visiting their various pubs in London. The staff at the pubs are great as well. My favorite dish is the whole farm roast, with generous portions and crispy potatoes. The Yorkshire pudding adds the perfect finishing touch to the meal. I absolutely love it!

I had an excellent meal and a wonderful time at the Howl at the Moon. I highly recommend starting with the camembert cheese, followed by the diverse selection of dishes known as the Whole Damn Farm. If you are a vegetarian, the Veggie-Samenloaf comes highly recommended by my friend. In the evening, there is an Irish music jam session which adds to the great ambiance. I usually love the Bacchus Sundays, but this might be my new favorite spot.

On this Sunday we were with george and vulture. it was very busy with Christmas parties and the like. great atmosphere in the pub and one of the most delicious frying dinners I've ever had. I am definitiw again for more!
