Noora Thai - Gympie Regional Council

I chose this restaurant to visit with my family because I had been to Noora Thai back in 2012 and had a good experience. Unfortunately, this time was not the same. We arrived in the early evening to find a disinterested server at the counter. Despite this, we placed our order for pad thai and tom yam. When the meals arrived, they looked unappetizing and lacked flavor. It was a disappointment, especially considering the prices were on the higher side. After giving the dishes a fair try, we ended up leaving most of them untouched. We decided it was best to spend our money elsewhere. It's a shame that the quality of the food and service had declined so much since my last visit.

I highly recommend Go Away! Thai for its delicious and fresh food. The seating outside may not be flashy, with just benches, and the restaurant is located on a quiet road near Centro Shopping Center. It would be a great spot for a casual meal.

I ordered the red curry duck and the waiter seemed to not be paying attention. He took out a frozen bag from the freezer, warmed it up in a pot for 2 minutes, and charged me $26. The customer service and experience were very disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant. Overall, I was very displeased. - Matt

Beautiful fresh and delicious authentic Thai food! it is spicy (as Thai food should be) but beautiful and fresh, highly recommended

I had mixed experiences at Noora Thai. Sometimes it is good and sometimes it is just tasteless. I guess it must depend on the dish and on the chef. I would recommend the place if you feel like Thai however, because it is clean and...feels authentic.
