Gold Nugget Truck Stop

I waited for an hour for some toast and poached eggs, but they were overcooked and rubbery. My wife had rösti with only bacon fat, which was a terrible dining experience.

Excellent service, very affordable, delicious food, consistently reasonable prices. A must-visit in Gympie with a rich history.

I have been using this truck stop for many years and always received top-notch service. However, it seems that there was a decline in quality a few years back, possibly due to a change in ownership. Recently, I decided to give it another chance and was pleasantly surprised to find that everything was up to the old standards. The staff, particularly Annette, was super friendly and efficient. Annette made our experience even more enjoyable with her cheerful and pleasant demeanor. I asked if they could make the old style pot of coffee with milk, and to my delight, they said they could. Thank you for the great service, Annette. We will definitely be back soon. Cheers!

We stopped here for breakfast instead of the usual maccas. we were greeted by friendly staff and amazing ambiente. the burgers surpassed our expectations and the chips were perfected! great, tasty meal times, good price-performance ratio, clean and wonderful service!. we will stop in any time we are passing from now on! thanks for a great stop!

It was extremely busy when I stopped in for a bite to eat, I special ordered a sandwich as I don’t like beetroot. The staff were very friendly efficient and while I waited I watched. I was very impressed by the way the staff were...pleasant and efficient and they worked together like a well oiled machine. My sandwich came out quickly and was fresh and delicious. What more can anyone ask for?! Thanks
