Dolgellau Kebab Burger House - Gwynedd

Good takeaway food was lovely only gripe for the score is it’s cash only! Shame. We had pizza and burgers and all was very nice. Staff very friendly.

I 'm posting this merely to counteract some of the bad reviews. For people complaining about no salad and or sauce, you do have to state that you want this with your order, also specify which particular sauce you 'd like. I 've only ever had sloppy chips once, which was an an exceptionally busy time when a lot of places like this (fish 'n chips are guilty of the same) just dump more and more fries in due to demand, which means the oil is no longer up to temperature so they fail to get crispy. Occasionally you will get incompetent service because they are training up new staff. In that case though forgive a newcomer a few rookie mistakes in their first days on the job, and don 't be shy to demand correction of the mistake. I have asked staff to toast my burger bun more put the chicken back on the grill because it was not cooked all the way through (and in general the staff there are REALLY careful with ensuring the chicken is done), asked for cheese or sauce I had ordered that hadn 't been added ; all complaints were responded to politely and promptly dealt with. Just be vocal when something is wrong. I have been living locally and frequently getting food from this place for years ; usually it 's good without question and when it isn 't, pointing that out to the staff will see it corrected. Besides this is by far the CLEANEST kebab shop I 've ever seen; they 're meticulous with the upkeep and have scored 5 stars on the restaurant hygiene review for years running now. No need to worry about a dodgy kitchen out the back and rodent droppings near food etc.

Bloke seemed a bit miserable but who can blame him... serving food to muppets on a friday night... pizza was excellent though

Great chicken kebabs from Dolgellau kebab! The donner can be a bit hit and miss but when it's good it's lush especially with mint mayo, yum yum

Terrible. The doner meat was bone dry and you have to assemble the kebab yourself they give you it in a box with all the ingredients separated. First time I've ever had to build my own doner kebab after a night on the beers. Should change the name of this place to Build A Kebab. The chicken fajita of kebab shops. The staff are rude as well. Sorry guys, you need to raise your game.
