Bidra med feedbackPizza is great but pasta is a bit too oily. They offered berries and cream with Tiramisu which goes nicely together.
We have tried coming here for coffee on unplanned occasions for years, but they were never open, even when opening times corresponded to the times on the door. At last we found them open, had coffee and breakfast. Not bad, we might try dinner as they seem to be more focussed on a la carte dining.
We had recently two family dinners in da nunzio. at both locations the service was excellent and the eating delicious. the restaurant is well furnished with a lot of space between tables that means a feeling of spaciousness and there is no noise...problem we come back.
We went out on Saturday night with friends. from the moment we arrived and until we left the restaurant, it was tick and tick from me. the owner was super friendly. he had talks with us and made sure he was. it was when we needed something else. he took us on a trip to the childhood back in italia. like his father in the hospitality industry for so many years back in italia and then he sets his father vision, excellent house cooked meals in a restaurant situation, here in canberra. it only felt like having a meal at a charling relative place. I felt like a dick. I asked the young girl who took part in our beverage order to surprise me with a mock-tail of her choice she goes off smiling and returns briefly with a delicious mock-tail when I asked what it was called, she replied “a made spontaneous, so no name “ so together we called it from her pointed name the eating was so delicious and I guess the excellent service made it even better. I highly recommend this place.
Took our granddaughter out for the day and decided to have lunch at da Nunzio. Fantastic host who kept up a good banter with said granddaughter. She had the kids nuggets and chips. They do their nuggets a bread crumb and good size proper chips....She loved it. We had two pizzas. One was the prosciutto and the other was the anchovy and olives. Nothing like good pizza bases that give the topping a good taste. Gelato went down a treat as this was part of the kids meal. I had the tiramisu which is very good. Great Sunday lunch.
