Bidra med feedbackAs soon as we walked into the restaurant, We didn’t know if we could sit ourselves or wait for individual to seat us because there was no sign. We were also not greeted. After us looking around to see if we saw anyone, a lady got up from a table close to the door and just nodded at us to a table that was close to the restroom. We kindly declined the table and asked if we can just choose one, and she nodded her head again. She had no smile, she look like she was mad and barely wanted to talk to us. When we got to the table, she asked us. What would we like to drink. Again with a mad face and her vibe was just not welcoming. Another waitress came and brought us drinks. The waitress that brought us, our drinks didn’t have a smile either, and look like she was mad as well however she assisted us on ordering our food and drinks right away however, her demeanor was not welcoming at all. The food was delicious. My margarita was on point. The food didn’t take that long to come, and it was fresh. Once her food came and asked us if we needed anything else, the waitress never came back to check in us. Not even one time did she even look our way to ask if we needed refills to ask if I needed another margarita because I sure would have bought another one. We needed refills and at the end we needed to go plates and she was not around. My son went to go ask for to go plates and he didn’t even get any help from any staff member. The customer in line to pay asked him what he needed as she was conversing with him, telling him that his hair was beautiful . She got to go plates for him and brought them to our table. We thanked her so much. We then headed our way to go pay and the waitress at that point smiled because she was telling our son that he’s cute. Very sweet of her. We thanked her. We are from out of town and my parents live in GBC And we go eat often, however I believe that great customer service should be a must, that way, you can keep your customers and make them feel welcome to come back again for business. A smile goes along way, And greeting someone or a family makes customers feel special and welcoming, going into their business. They were not busy there was about four tables that had customers eating. Even If a business is busy, they should still have great Customer Service but I’m just saying that they were not busy. Again the food was delicious. It was super quiet in there, so I do recommend a little bit of music would help as well.
The food was excellent! The lady who packed my to-go order was very friendly and I felt like she cared that I was getting what I ordered. She checked to make sure I had everything before she handed me the bags! Excellent service!
I hope they are able to hire some help soon..they only had 2 waitresses today for Father's Day and by the time we got the food it was cold...
El Portal De Jaripo Inc. has always served excellent food. Their drinks are very good as well, and the service is hands down,a pleasurable experience.
I am a daily customer and I love the food and it is very reasonable. I would recommend it to everyone. Excellent!!!
